How does financial support work?

We cover tuition, equipment rental, and field trip costs for students who demonstrate commitment but face economic barriers. Each scholarship averages $1,840 and includes 6 months of instruction.

Funding also supports local instructors in remote regions who teach in their native languages and cultural contexts.

Who qualifies for support?

  • Applicants aged 16-35 from communities with limited educational infrastructure
  • Demonstrated interest in conservation or environmental storytelling
  • No prior access to formal photography training
  • Commitment to complete the full program duration

What happens after training?

Graduates receive portfolio development support and introductions to conservation organizations seeking visual documentation. 41% of our alumni now work professionally in wildlife media or eco-tourism.

We maintain a mentorship network connecting graduates with experienced photographers for ongoing guidance.

Supporting Our Work

Contributions fund scholarships, equipment libraries, and instructor training in regions where photography education is inaccessible. Every donation directly reduces barriers for aspiring conservation photographers.

Equipment Fund

Build our lending library of cameras and lenses available to students who cannot afford their own gear during training.

Instructor Network

Support local photographers to become certified instructors in their communities, creating sustainable teaching capacity.

Field Expeditions

Fund transportation and permits for students to access protected areas and wildlife habitats for hands-on learning.
