How Learning Progresses
The program follows a two-phase approach. Initial weeks focus on technical foundation, later weeks shift to independent projects with instructor support.
Technique Foundation
Group sessions 3 times per week with structured assignments. Each participant receives individual feedback on submitted work within 48 hours.
Focus is on technical accuracy, consistent exposure control, and understanding light behavior in outdoor settings.
Guided Projects
Weekly group reviews with optional individual consultation sessions. Participants work on self-chosen projects aligned with their interests and geography.
Emphasis shifts to editorial judgment, series coherence, and storytelling through visual choices rather than purely technical execution.
Session Format
Group sessions run 90 minutes with live Q&A. All sessions are recorded and available for 6 months after program completion.
Individual consultations are 30 minutes, scheduled at participant request. Each participant receives 4 consultation slots during the program.
Time zones accommodated: sessions rotate between 3 time blocks to serve participants from GMT-8 to GMT+10. Participants attend the block most convenient for their location.
